It’s all fun and games until someone passes away. While a few years ago hearing about a dead pornstar was big news, now it feels like a daily thing. So, what pushed me to write an article about the best dead pornstars? The events of 2024, when in the first quarter alone there were more pornstar deaths than I’ve ever seen, ranging from suicide to accidents, but mostly suicide.
I know that the world is all sad and whatnot, but this got me thinking… Why not honor them all with a list of all recently passed pornstars? I don’t want to go back to a decade ago and relive those events, but what about something from the 2020s, something that is still fresh in our heads?
Why not start with good news instead of all the dead, right? At first, the things looked bleak for one of the most talented pornstars, Emily Willis. Some speculated about drug overdose or suicide, but there were no drugs in her system! No, this famous pornstar has suffered a heart attack and was taken to hospital where she slipped into a vegetative coma.
As we’ve long said, don’t count out Emily yet because she’s in intensive care and is still alive. And to make things better, back in April of 2015, Willins has finally awoken from coma after two months of fighting. Good for her.
The only pornstar to make a cut for the post-2020 era, Riley Evans is a name that has been heard over and over. Her pornographic portfolio lists hundreds of titles including porn parodies like Iron Man XXX or Silence of the Lambs.
Thankfully, Riley’s life was not about substance abuse or battling depression that led to suicide. I mean, it’s not like that’s any better but Evans has passed away due to breast cancer. She was a beautiful, incredibly genuine, and passionate woman.

Most of the time, there are two types of deaths inside the porn business. It’s either a suicide or drug overdose and according to various press reports, Dakota Skye died from acute drug intoxication. And it’s not like Dakota’s life was easy, by the way, she grew up in an alcoholic home, so picture that and then a move to become a female pornstar just paints a grey picture.
Furthermore, Dakota received a lot of hate after lifting her top at the George Floyd mural, so yeah, there’s that.

I don’t wish this upon to anyone, and seeing Dahlia struggle with depression was as painful as witnessing a family member struggle with something too. Back in 2021, Dahlia Sky was diagnosed with the stage 4 metastatic breast cancer but that wasn’t enough to kill her. Instead, she has decided to take her own life and did so with a shotgun wound to her had.
Now, that’s just horrible, but if you want to go the rabbit hole even further, prior suicide, Dahlia was homeless and was living in her car at the time of suicide.

The man himself, a legend to others and a not so cool guys for others, Max Hardcore has passed away at the age of 66 following a rough battle with cancer. But it’s not the cancer that has killed him. Instead, a septic shock and pneumonia took this brave soul away from us and that was the end of it.
He was a controversial figure and has been featured in many “not so softcore” porn movies, but that’s why Max Hardcore became famous in the first place.

People love to speculate and create all kinds of conspiracy theories, so keep that in mind when you read about Sophie’s death. Basically, she has died two weeks after her boyfriend did.
Interestingly enough, there was a hoax six months earlier where someone posted false news that Sophie has dead although at the time, it could’ve been related to Andreson’s infection due to breast silicones.

Sometime in 2023, Thaina Fields went public and spoke about a strong sexual harassment that she has been dealing with in the porn industry. There would be times where Thaina would do a scene, go home, take a bath and cry, and it’s not a onetime thing either.
Then, in early 2024, she has been found dead, as simple as that. There are no more known details, so we won’t speculate either.

It’s horrible to see your idols pass away and Jesse Jane was one of them, at least for me and many others. She was discovered during the welfare check placed by a third party. For people outside the US, it’s not related to a welfare money or anything of that matter. The welfare check is a service where, if you suspect something is wrong with the person, the police come to see if they’re okay.
Also, to make matters worse, it was not only Jesse but also her boyfriend who was found dead besides her. It could be a drug related death but there are no further details yet.

Everyone’s beloved pornstar is now dead and it’s not easy for me to write these things. I know that millennials love to joke about depression, but this is a serious matter.
Also, you can’t go out more hardcore than Kagney, and to say that we’re left shocked is an understatement. Since the emergence of new details, it looks like the cause of death is suicide, but it’s not pills or alcohol. Instead, she has killed herself with a shotgun to her mouth.

Dubbed under suspicious death tag, Sophia Leone passed away in March 2024 at the age of 26. She was discovered in her New Mexico apartment and two weeks later, police were finally ready to talk. According to various reports, it’s now being investigated as a robbery or homicide among other scenarios.
